Even though he slay me, Even though he works through family to discourage me, Even though he works through fake friends to mislead me, Even though he uses my own self esteem against me, Even though he uses heart ache to try and break me, Even though he uses worldly possessions to tempt me.

It was your love that kept me. Through me lives the spirit of you. No matter what the devil tries to lead me to believe I know that I am a child of God and the “Blood” is what protects me.

You picked me up in times when I did not know my own strengths or weaknesses. When the world shunned me it was your loved thatcovered me and protected me in your shield of armor. You knew me better than I knew myself.

Now that I have grown in the spirit of God comforted by the blood of Jesus. I am ready to be used for your purpose. Forgive me for my sins. As I stand ready to take my assignment to the next level.

So Even though he slay me, I will trust in the Lord. I am an invincible vessel of Gods work. Through faith, courage and wisdom. I walk the path assigned to me. For The Devil is a Liar...
