Prayer for the Youth of Today
Father God I come to you as humble as I know how, seeking after you to come and move like you’ve never done before in this generation of youth; for they are not just the youth of tomorrow, but the youth of today. Lord, give them the direction that is needed so that they can become the men and women of God that you called and ordained them to be. Come now father and create in them a clean heart that they may be righteous in your sight. Give them a heart like yours. Allow them to thirst for your will. I command every strong hold to be broken off of this generation. Every demonic force that has tried to wipe them out with drugs, alcohol, sexual addiction, and so on, I command it to lose its hold right now. They shall be free and walk upright. Every suicidal attack has got to cease that they shall live and not die. They shall declare the works of you, lord. I pray for the youth, that you allow the light of salvation to shine through them and on them that another young person, who is lost, shall be saved. Use them for the manifestation of your glory. I pray for the hand of protection to surround them and cover them from the time they rise in the morning to the time they lay their head to rest.
